In an article published in the November 2015 issue of Scientific American, the invention and development of our group’s approach to ultrasensitive biomolecular detection is described. The article explains the need for rapid, point-of-care testing systems for disease diagnosis, and how the electrochemical detection system we’ve developed could serve as a powerful solution for this application.
